The Thunder revealed their Summer League roster on Saturday morning, the roster consists of the four rookies drafted on draft night along with 9 other players, some faces familiar, some not. The team will be coached by Grant Gibbs. Let’s take a moment to recap the roster.
Charlie Brown Jr. – Brown Jr. signed two ten day contracts before signing a multi year contract with the Thunder on May15th of this year. For the season Brown averaged 4.4 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and 1.0 AST.
Oscar de Silva- Silva went undrafted out of Stanford where he averaged 18.8 PPG, 5.9 RPG,1.7 AST, and 1.0 BLKS.
Rob Edwards- The former Sundevil was drafted by the Thunder Blue G-League team. He averaged 12.5 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and 1.5 AST.
Josh Giddey- Giddey was the 6th pick in the NBA draft and averaged 10.9 PPG, 7.4RPG, and 7.5 AST.
Josh Hall- Hall is currently on a two way contract with the Thunder. He averaged 4.1 PPG, 2.8 RPG, and 1.3 AST last year.
Jaylen Hoard- Hoard is also on a two way contract. He averaged 6.1 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and 1.3 AST.
Jalen Lecque- Lecque was traded to the Thunder by the Suns on November 16th, 2020 and then traded to the Pacers on November 25th, 2020. The Pacers waived Lecque on March 25th of this year. He averaged 1.7 PPG, 0.8 RPG, and 0.4 AST.
Theo Maledon- Theo was drafted by the Thunder in 2020 out of France. He averaged 10.1 PPG, 3.2 RPG, and 3.5 AST last year.
Tre Mann- Mann was selected with the 18th pick by the Thunder in this past draft, He averaged 16.0 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 3.5 AST last year for Florida.
Jeremiah Robinson Earl- Earl was drafted with the 32nd pick in this past draft. He averaged 15.7 PPG, 8.5 RPG, and 2.2 AST last year for the Villanova Wildcats.
Aaron Wiggins- Wiggins was drafted with the 55th pick in this past draft. He averaged 14.5 PPG, 5.8 RPG, and 2.5 AST last year for the Maryland Terrapins
Emmitt Williams- Williams is an undrafted rookie from LSU. Last year he averaged 13.3 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 1.2 AST for the Tigers. .
Ryan Woolridge- Woolridge is another undrafted rookie from Gonzaga who played for the OKC Blue last year, averaging 6.6 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 4.0 AST.
This year’s Summer League team is absolutely loaded. They should have a good chance at winning it all. Their first game is Sunday against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons.
