Thunder end the Summer League on a winning note.

The Thunder were able to get back into the win column on Monday evening, knocking off the Spurs 116-91 in their last Summer League game to break their three game losing streak.

Rob Edwards had one of the more impressive Summer League games by totaling 23 points ( 15 of those 23 in a span of 3 minutes.) on 8-18 from the field, and 4-8 from three. Once again Jeremiah Robinson Earl made his case for being the most slept on prospect from the draft, totaling 15 points on 7-13 from the field, and grabbing 8 rebounds to go along with it. Josh Hall had easily his best game of the SL totaling 17 points on 5-8 from the field (one of which was an absolute monster poster dunk). Emmitt Williams totaled 14 points and went a perfect 6-6 from the field to go along with his 5 rebounds.

This was easily the Thunder’s best performance as a team overall going 57% from the field and 40% from three. It’s always nice to end things on a win, but the Thunder had aspirations of bringing home the SL trophy, so I’m sure they’re not satisfied with their performance in Vegas. If you’re Sam Presti though, you still have to feel just a little vindicated, as they have seemingly hit on every one of their draft picks. Keep an eye out for my recap of the Summer League including who I thought was really impressive and may have earned some money with their performance.
