Colts at Vikings: Vikings -3.5 (-110)

I get that everyone has the Vikings on fraud alert now, especially after losing to the Lions. Here is the thing though: the Lions are playing great football as of late. You know who is not playing great football? The Colts. They have lost four out of their last five, with their only win coming against a self-sabotaging Raiders squad.

The Vikings are a legitimately good football team. They may not be elite, but they are far better than Indianapolis. Kirk Cousins and company should win this one, and win it handily. Seven out of Minnesota’s ten wins have come by more than a field goal. Lay the points here.

Ravens at Browns: Ravens Moneyline (+130)

This may sound crazy, but I think Tyler Huntley may be able to guide Baltimore’s offense to more points than Deshaun Watson can with Cleveland’s. The thing is, Huntley is actually well-suited for Baltimore’s run-heavy offense. Deshaun Watson is not a great fit handing the ball to Nick Chubb and running play-action. It completely diminishes everything that he does well.

Defensively, Baltimore is every bit as good as Cleveland — if not better. I get that this is a home game for the Browns, but a cold day off of Lake Erie might actually suit the Ravens better. This should be a methodical, low-scoring affair. I like the Ravens to edge this one out, and the value makes this one too good to pass up.

Lions at Jets: Lions -1 (-110)

The Jets are officially going to be without Mike White, which means Zach Wilson is going to be thrusted back into the starting lineup. Grab this line right now before it moves. There is no way the Jets are bringing their ‘A’ game for Wilson. They are totally done with him.

On the other hand, the Lions look really good. They are moving the ball well, and the defense is doing enough. Dan Campbell appears to be coaching his way to another season in Motor City. Take the Lions to cover a measly point.

Cowboys at Jaguars: Cowboys -4 (-105)

The Cowboys are rolling right now. They are currently looking like one of the best teams in the NFL. Dallas has a potent combo of running backs in Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliot. On top of that, they have a top ten quarterback in Dak Prescott. On the other side of the ball, Dallas has the front-runner for Defensive Player of the Year in Micah Parsons.

Jacksonville doesn’t look bad, but they are a far cry from the Cowboys. The Jags are just trying to get to the point of being respectable. Dallas is trying to win it all. We are dealing with teams in different orbits. Take the Cowboys to cover the four points.

Steelers at Panthers: UNDER 37 (-110)

This game is going to be horrible. Sam Darnold and Kenny Pickett might combine for three picks. It will be hard to watch. Nevertheless, we might as well make some money off it.

These are two teams who struggle to score 20 points against just about everyone. Both of these teams actually have pretty good defenses. It is unlikely that either team gets to 20. This game will probably end around 19-17, at most. Take the under.
