Today was the first day that the Miami Dolphins wore pads during training camp. This is when both the lines and the run game are spotlighted.
Head Coach Brian Flores met with the media Monday morning to start off Week 2 of training camps, here are the news and notes from the presser:
Every preseason, on every team, there who are players on the bubble. These players have about 4 weeks to prove why they are worthy of a spot on the roster. If they struggle, they’ll be looking for a new team to join in August or September. Some guys come into training camp on the bubble,
This is the second part of the versatility series here we look at the defenders that you may see all over the field this year. Finding just a handful of players is very hard as Flores loves his versatility on the defensive side.
You can’t deny that Albert Wilson has taken the 2021 training camp out to the woodshed. You know the place where all the beatings happen. I realize all the buzz is around Tua’s minute by minute development and Xavien Howard f̶a̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ suffering a minor injury but Wilson is one of the leading stories right now.
Admittedly, Howard and Gilmore are two of the best players Corners in the NFL. Without them, each of their respective teams can get significantly worse, and any available replacement player would be a major downgrade.
The NHL is expanding and welcoming the Seattle Kraken. If the NFL adopted an NHL-style expansion draft, who would the Miami Dolphins protect?
